Polar bears on ice and a Chinese-style Temple of Heaven are among the stunning displays.

There is also a Santa’s grotto, a bar, rides, and a Christmas market serving food for visitors to enjoy.

Proceeds from ticket sales will go to the Jane Tomlinson Appeal, part of the legacy of the late Leeds cancer sufferer and fundraiser whose name it bears.

The family-friendly event runs until January 1, 2018. There are ticketed entry slots every 15 minutes from 5pm to 9pm.
