Leeds youngsters perform in London

Talented young performers from North Leeds took centre stage at one of the country's most prestigious theatres.

Youngsters from Stagecoach Theatre Arts Leeds Alwoodley performed at Her Majesty’s Theatre in London’s West End on March 20.

The 14 youngsters performed their own Jazz Fuzion routine, which they had been practising for five weeks before the show.

The troupe were joined by 15 other Stagecoach schools from across the country at the event.

Cris Salvadore, school principal, said: “It was great seeing the pupils on stage in the West End. I was so proud of them and the audience were thrilled with their performance.”
