Leeds youngsters at skipping school contest finals

MORE than 350 children from schools across Leeds took part in the finals of a skipping competition.

Youngsters from year two gathered at Leeds Beckett University’s Headingley campus at Wednesday’s (June 13) event organised by Skipping School Ltd.

Pudsey Bolton Royd Primary School was declared the winner of the event.

Jodi Corcoran of Skipping School Ltd, which organises skipping workshops and competitions at 500 schools, said: “The project has been a great success.”
