Leeds woman seriously hurt in South Yorkshire road smash
A woman from Leeds was airlifted to hospital after suffering serious injuries in a road smash in South Yorkshire.
The 25-year-old was driving a Ford Fiesta car that was in collision with a Ford Ranger 4x4 on the A628 in Silkstone, near Barnsley, at about 5.10pm yesterday.
She was taken to Sheffield’s Northern General Hospital. The driver of the Ford Ranger, a 22-year-old man from Holmfirth, suffered minor injuries.
