Leeds vigil shows solidarity with victims of Orlando nightclub shootings
A vigil was held in Leeds last night to show solidarity with victims of the Orlando shootings.
The city’s LGB&T community joined together on Lower Briggate, commonly known as Gayleeds, in remembrance of the victims.
At least 50 people were killed at a club in Orlando which American President Barack Obama said was a an “act of terror” and an “act of hate”.
Mr Obama said it was a reminder of how easy it is to obtain a weapon that allows them to shoot innocent people.
