Leeds' Victoria Gate Casino plans a grand birthday bash to mark its first year

Leeds' Super Casino will celebrate its first birthday - by giving out dozens of prizes and hundreds of invites to a swanky and glamorous celebration bash.

On Friday January 26, Victoria Gate Casino celebrates its first year in business by hosting a golden ticket treasure hunt across the city centre where 50 golden tickets, inside golden envelopes, have been placed in various locations around Leeds city centre between 12pm and 2pm.

Each golden ticket will be numbered and corresponds to a prize that can be claimed at the Casino. Clues on the locations of the golden tickets will be posted across Victoria Gate Casino’s social media channels on the day.

Prizes include meal for two and cocktail vouchers in the casino’s V restaurant and champagne and cocktail bar, Curve; beer buckets and afternoon tea and a main cash prize worth hundreds of pounds.

Victoria Gate Casino has also arranged for a glamorous hostess in an eight-foot cocktail glass to be positioned on Briggate to remind shoppers about the treasure hunt as well as handing out invites to the casino’s birthday party which will be held on Saturday January 27 at the casino.

Guests will be greeted by free fizz and canapes for the first 200 guests and an extended happy hour until 9pm. Extravagant entertainment includes music from Head Over Heels and DJ Foz, stilt walkers and magicians. There will also be glitter face painters and a photo booth to add to the party mood.

Party-goers will receive a casino goodie bag as well opportunities to take part in an array of competitions on the night.
