Mr Bogle answered all 10 questions correctly in just 29 seconds, pipping Matthew Thompson from Meadowfield Primary in Halton (30 seconds) and Paul Rushfirth from St Theresa’s Catholic Primary School in Cross Gates (31 seconds) to win the prize haul of bikes provided by Wilco Motosave.

Mr Bogle, who was presented with a trophy by Heart Yorkshire Breakfast Show host Emma Lenney yesterday, said: “What an amazing gift to give the children before the summer holidays.

“Thank you so much to Heart and [presenters] Dixie and Emma for making memories that will last forever.”

Headteacher Lesley West added: “As a school we spend a lot of time teaching children to cycle and this will really help them to be safe on the roads in the future.”

Heart Yorkshire presenter Emma Lenney said: “We’ve absolutely loved the past 10 weeks and we’re over the moon for Mr Bogle and the children from Primrose Hill Primary School in Pudsey.”

A spokesman from competition sponsors Wilco Motosave added: “We are so happy that the bikes have gone to such a lovely local school. Well done to all the schools who entered.”
