SHE’S already made a big splash in the world of synchronised swimming.

Now multi-talented Rebecca Richardson from Leeds is hoping to show all the right moves on the catwalk as well.

Colton-based Rebecca will be competing for the title of Miss West Yorkshire at Wetherby’s Bridge Hotel & Spa on Thursday. (August 17)

The Leeds City College student recently represented Great Britain in her sport’s junior European championships in Belgrade. She said: “I’m very busy, but I wouldn’t have it any other way, I’m really looking forward to trying something different with Miss West Yorkshire, as I have never competed in a modelling competition or pageant before. I’ve really enjoyed the experience so far.”

The winner of Miss West Yorkshire will go forward to the Supermodel England national final in November.
