Guides from Hyde Park are taking part in a record attempt to create the world’s longest superhero cape, with children’s TV show Blue Peter.

The 95th Leeds Guides is one of 100 guide groups helping to make the cape, expected to be 44 metres long, by decorating a large spot to appear on it.

They have used pictures and words to illustrate their community work.

The cape will be unveiled on Blue Peter on November 12 to mark Children in Need.
