A man has been arrested over the fatal shooting of a man at a house in Leeds.

Police have now named the victim of the incident in Wortley, last Friday, as Pawel Jarek Matras, who was originally from Poland.

Mr Matras, 21, was shot at a property in Blue Hill Crescent at around 5.30pm.

Detectives arrested a 22-year-old in London last night on suspicion of murder.

He has been brought back to West Yorkshire for questioning.

A 31-year-old who was also shot has now been released from hospital after treatment.

Detectives are continuing to appeal for anyone with any information that could assist the investigation to contact them via the non-emergency number 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
