Members of two Scouting groups visited Leeds-Bradford Airport at the weekend to carry out the sponsored aircraft wash.

More than 30 youngsters from the groups in Burley-in-Wharfedale and Addingham washed planes for two hours on Saturday for one of the firms based at the airport on the outskirts of Leeds, Jet2.com.

They raised money from the event to help fund a planned trip to the International Scout Camp in Switzerland. Jet2.com, which has its main base in the UK at Leeds-Bradford Airport.
