SS Empire Windrush was the ship that brought the first large group of immigrants from the Caribbean and famously began the post-war immigration boom that radically changed Britain.

The Quarry Hill-based theatre group is due to perform Windrush between February 7 and 10 from 7.30pm.

Artistic director and choreographer Sharon Watson said: “I want to capture both the excitement and the upset of this significant event.”
