Super league rugby legend Jamie Peacock will open one of the largest charity shops in the region on Friday (July 10).

The new Sue Ryder shop on York Road, Leeds, will be the biggest format shop for the charity in the north and promises to be a treasure trove of bargains including vintage and retro sections. Money raised from the store will help to support Wheatfields Hospice, Leeds, one of seven hospices run by the national health and social care charity.

Sue Ryder area manager Glynn Taylor said: “Sue Ryder promises to be THE place to shop in Leeds with proceeds going to help Sue Ryder Wheatfields Hospice provide specialist hospice care.”
