Sporting celebrations will be on the menu at a glittering Leeds Rhinos dinner taking place at Leeds Town Hall tomorrow night.
The black tie event has been organised to mark the 10th anniversary of the launch of the Leeds Rhinos Foundation, the all-conquering rugby league club’s official charity.
It will also give the city of Leeds the chance to offer a stylish civic welcome to members of the New Zealand team ahead of their game against the Rhinos at Headingley Carnegie Stadium this Friday.
Bob Bowman, director of operations at the foundation, said: “We are excited to celebrate this milestone in such a wonderful venue and appreciate the support from Leeds City Council.
“Our first 10 years have been a journey of tremendous success where we have held dear to our ambition to ‘change lives through sport’.”
Tomorrow’s event will also see the premiere of a short film showcasing the foundation’s work that has been made with communications firm Brass Agency.
The celebration comes as the Rhinos continue to bask in the golden glow of their treble winning season, the most successful in the club’s proud history.
