The application is for live music, Monday to Saturday, as well as the sale of alcohol and recorded music.

Six letters of objection have been lodged against the application, which are opposed on the grounds of “public nuisance”.

One objection said: “We strongly object to yet more noise in Crossgates at unsociable hours. Many nearby residents will feel the impact of this.”

The committee will consider the proposals at 10am on Tuesday, at Leeds Civic Hall.
