Leeds restaurant owner on the run for charity
The owner of a Leeds restaurant is pounding the streets to help raise money for Yorkshire Cancer Research.
Bobby Patel, owner of Prashad’s restaurant in Drighlington, is taking part in the Run For All Leeds 10k challenge this summer.
His dad Mohan, 67, was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin lymphoma last year and Bobby wants to “give something back” to honour the support the family have received. He said: “The reason behind it is my dad is just overcoming cancer, he is at the last stages of his treatment.

He added: “It is nice to do something meaningful for my dad.
“It is really important for people to see that there is a light at the end of a tunnel.”
