Leeds recommends: Best places for afternoon tea

This week we asked the #Leedsrecommends community to suggest their favourite relaxing spots for afternoon tea in Leeds and the wider region. From luxury hotels to vintage tea rooms, the city has it all.

Janice Grayson. In Leeds Creams, Queen’s Hotel, Patisserie Valerie. Bettys in Harrogate and Ilkley and Parliament Street Cafe in Harrogate. Not that I go out for afternoon tea often!

Donna-Marie Whatmore. It has to be Just Grand vintage tearoom in The Grand Arcade. Just a fabulous place to have a cup of tea and a slice of the homemade cakes and scones that are on offer, along with a variety of yumminess that awaits and the warm and friendly welcome that greets you as soon as you step into this lovely little gem.
