Pupils from a Rothwell primary school have helped design a show home at a local housing development.

St Mary’s Catholic Primary took part in the competition to launch Taylor Wimpey’s new Rodewelle Green estate on Royds Lane.

The winners were asked to cut the red ribbon to open the scheme, before meeting potential buyers and showing them around the site.
“This was such a lovely competition for the children to get involved with, and it was so tricky to pick out our winners,” said sales and marketing director Anne Bagshaw.
