Recently-announced rule changes mean charity Google AdWords accounts could be closed down if they are not getting enough clicks.

Circus is now on the lookout for a charity that it can help by managing its AdWords account free of charge and keeping its clicks above the required level.

The company’s managing director, Rick Tobin, said: “We know that there are charities who will be worried about having their account shut down if they do not meet the required click through rate, and people within charitable organisations, who may not even have a specialism in paid search, running the accounts who are daunted by these changes.

“We want to take away the stress of managing the account, and as charities do an amazing job, it is only right that we offer to do this with no fees involved.

“With this in mind, we’re now looking for a charitable partner who we can work with on a long-term basis, to maintain and improve their AdWords account.”
