Update: Water supply restored in north Leeds

5,000 north Leeds homes affected, Yorkshire Water confirms

Yorkshire Water has confirmed that more than 5,000 homes have been left with low pressure or no water due to the large burst in LS17.

Homes in LS19 and LS20 are also affected.

A spokeswoman said: "We are aware of a large burst in the LS17 area, which has temporarily affected supply to a number of properties in LS19 and LS20.

The burst is causing low pressure or no water to properties in LS17, LS19 and LS20.
