Afterwards, guests will be free to network and meet like-minded people from property and development based professions such as estate agents, planning officers, architects, designers and surveyors.

There are already ten branches of the established from London to Dubai with Manchester, Cambridge, Nottingham and Southampton in between. Leeds was the next choice due to the rapid pace of development in the city, with projects such as Temple Works in Holbeck generating excitement among locals.

Emma Murgatroyd chairs the Leeds movement and said: “It is a really growing market in Leeds and everybody recognises that.”

She said the group mixes business with a more sociable feel – especially for people that are just starting in their professions and don’t find networking as easy as more experienced colleagues. In addition to the launch on Thursday May 27 at Victoria Gate Casino which starts at 5.30pm, there will be five further events planned throughout 2018.
