Leeds musical set to waltz off for London's theatreland
LONDON is calling for the West Yorkshire Playhouse production of Strictly Ballroom The Musical.
The show premiered in Leeds last year and is now set to switch to the West End’s Piccadilly Theatre in March.
Playhouse artistic director James Brining said: “We are thrilled that this exceptional musical is transferring to the West End after playing to sell-out houses here at the Playhouse – Leeds’s audiences absolutely loved it.
“This production is full of heart, energy and world-class dance.”
