A Leeds mum and her six week old daughter had a lucky escape after their vehicle was engulfed in flames.

West Yorkshire Police and West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue service were called to the scene after the driver's silver car was suddenly engulfed in flames.

The dramatic incident, which took place in Leeds on Sunday, was thankfully resolved without anyone getting hurt.

A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police said: "Leeds - a mother & her 6 week old daughter were lucky to get out as her vehicle engulfed in flames all of a sudden. All ok #team2"
