Leeds MP makes a splash for city hospice
as an MP, she's used to swimming in occasionally choppy political waters.
But now Leeds West MP Rachel Reeves is taking on a whole new watery challenge. On June 10, Ms Reeves is taking part in the Great North Swim, an open water swim in Lake Windermere. “This will be quite a challenge,” she said. “My training is taking me from Bramley Baths to Brockwell Lido.” Rachel and a team of councillors will be swimming to raise money for St Gemma’s Hospice in Leeds.
