Leeds mill hits right note with Justin Bieber link firm

Leading Yorkshire online music production company Samplephonics is taking office space at the historic 10 acre Sunny Bank Mills site in Farsley near Pudsey.

More than 70 companies are now operating at the revamped site, which has created more than 300 jobs since it opened for business in 2010.

David Rose of Samplephonics, said: “We are launching a new brand called Noiiz and will be building a new software development team over the next year, as well as creating a meeting room and separate directors office for both Samplephonics and Noiiz.

“We sell digital products online to music producers, composers and sound designers, one of which included Justin Bieber’s producer who used some of our sounds on ‘What Do You Mean.’

“Noiiz will be a unique platform for music creators that will facilitate collaboration through the cloud and offer access to a vast amount of sound content and music software for a monthly subscription.”

And a further two business – Children’s Corner Childcare and Sue Wilson Photography have also signed new deals for office space at Sunny Bank Mills.

“The decision by Samplephonics to expand, and Sue Wilson to relocate within Sunny Bank Mills, is a resounding endorsement of our development. We now have over 70 companies on site, creating more than 300 sustainable jobs, and with space to double that, our ambition is to become the largest centre of employment in the area.”
