Leeds Mencap enjoys major funding boost thanks to city law firm

Leeds Mencap will use the funds from global law firm Squire Patton Boggs to help those living with learning disabilities in the city.

Cath Lee, CEO of Leeds Mencap, said: “Squire Patton Boggs has been amazing and we feel so lucky to have worked with a committee that has such energy and enthusiasm. The company committed to lots of different events on site and off. I don’t think there is an event they haven’t done; from bake sales to euro sweepstakes to singing in Leeds Train Station, sponsored runs, the amazing challenge of walking the Yorkshire Three Peaks, Poker nights, corporate curry lunches and even bringing in an element of fundraising into an entire office relocation by auctioning off furniture – just brilliant.”
