Leeds Male Voice Choir tuning up for festive date

Leeds Male Voice Choir are gearing up for their fourth annual festive concert in the city next month.

The Spirit of Christmas will be performed at Leeds Cathedral on Saturday, December 9.

The popular event will also feature the popular female choir the Horbury Singers, directed by Leeds Male Voice Choir’s former trainee conductor Edward Whelan.

The Spirit of Christmas comes at the end of a successful year for the choir, which has included a tour of Belgium and performances at St Bavos Cathedral and the Menin Gate at Ypres in the Last post ceremony.
