Founder of Leeds Loves Cocktails, Nick Fox, said: “We’re celebrating everything that is good about the city of Leeds and its vibrant drinks scene.

“This year we have the best line up yet with 43 amazing venues, brands and the most talented drinks creators taking part to delight Leeds cocktail fans. We look forward to welcoming and educating customers to drink better, not more.”

Highlights include a takeover at Manahatta, as famous London hotel The Savoy’s world-renowned ‘American Bar’ comes to town.

Leeds bartender Joe Lewis White will serve unique cocktails and discuss the history of gin with Portobello Road’s Tom Coates.

Other events include a rum exchange at Roxy Ballroom, tasting dinners at restaurants such as Chaopraya and Gusto, a masterclass at Cielo Blanco’s margarita garden and a jazz and electro party at Jake’s.

The event has proved such a success that it is now expanding with the first ‘Manchester Loves Cocktails’ event on July 25.
