Leeds laundrette shop front blown out

THe front of a laundrette was blown out following an explosion in Leeds today.

Fire and rescue crews from Cookridge attended the incident on Easterly Road, Oakwood, opposite McDonald’s at about 4.40am.

A spokesman said a fire in the laundrette was put out but said the cause of the explosion was as yet unknown.

No-one was injuried in the incident.
