A LEEDS jetsetter has won 10 years of free flights to Tenerife.

Frequent flyer Andrew Tylee, 64, from Alwoodley, has travelled to Tenerife 41 times and has been rewarded with a decade’s worth of free flights.

The surprise gift from Jet2.com and Jet2holidays was given to mark the 10th anniversary of flights to the destination from Leeds Bradford Airport.

Mr Tylee said: “I have a property in Tenerife which I visit throughout the year and it’s so easy to access from Leeds Bradford Airport. Thank you Jet2.com and Jet2holidays!”

The airline has taken more than 660,000 passengers to and from the island since 2005.

Commercial director, Steve Lee, said: “It only seems like yesterday that I was waving off the first ever flight!

“It was the very first Canary Island destination we offered to our customers and it is great to see that it is proving as popular as ever.”
