A mapping firm has revealed that Leeds is one of the UK's greenest cities

Analysis by surveyors Esri found that 21.7 per cent of land within the local authority boundary is covered by public green space.

Leeds came seventh in the national top 10, in a list which was topped by Edinburgh. Nearly half of the Scottish capital's land is open space.

Over 18 per cent of Bradford is green space, and 22 per cent of Sheffield.

To celebrate, we've rounded up some of Leeds's hidden green gems.
