Chloe, 23, has climbed the highest mountains of three continents, including Mount Kilimanjaro and has visited over 30 countries.

She said: “I am very adventurous. The mountains are where my heart really lies so a desert environment will be a completely new challenge.”

Chloe will be walking the Gobi, the largest desert in Asia to raise money for WaterAid.

After volunteering in Africa and helping refugees in Kos, Greece, Chloe is keen to press the importance of access to clean water. She said: “We take the fact that we can access clean water for a given. Surely in this day and age everyone in the world should have this right.”

In combining her love for adventure with raising money for charity, Chloe is using her desire to explore to have a positive impact on the world.

She added: “I thought for my next challenge why not use it to raise awareness and funds for charity.

“I’m also hoping it will encourage other young people to go out and explore.”

The challenge will take an estimated 60 days, walking up to 30km a day. As rescue is almost impossible in the an area so large, Chloe will be followed by a trained expert.

If successful, Chloe will break the record as the youngest Briton to walk to Gobi desert.
