A go-karting track in Leeds is reopening to the public in Leeds.

TeamSport Indoor Karting, in Hunslet, had been closed to the general public due to the lockdown restrictions.

The South Accommodation Road track will open its doors on Saturday, July 4.

Strict social distancing and precautionary measures against Covid-19 will be in place.

All clothing items that racers are required to wear will be sanitised before being issued.

Customers are also welcome to bring their own racewear and helmet as long as it complies to the required safety standard.

Birthday packages will be unavailable due to the social distancing guidelines.

Sessions such as the 'Ultimate Race Experience' and '3-4-2' sessions will still be available for racers.

Cold food and drinks will be available but customers will be required to pay with a card.

Dominic Gaynor, CEO of TeamSport Indoor Karting, said: "The whole TeamSport team are delighted to be reopening and we’re looking forward to being able to share the joy of go-karting again.”
