A Leeds restaurant has been named among the nation’s top 50, in the 2017 edition of the Good Food Guide, which is published today.

Michael O’Hare’s The Man Behind The Curtain on Vicar Lane in the city centre has made it on to last place in the list, which last year included no eateries in Yorkshire.

The menu there includes sea urchin and hand massaged octopus.

Ten other Leeds diners, including Vice and Virtue, housed in a former strip club on New Briggate, are among the 1,200 establishments listed by the guide - but only the first 50 are ranked.
