It is the first major works that have been done at Viaduct in eight years and the cash boost has come from Leeds based entrepreneur and owner Michael Rothwell.

He said: “I have always wanted to take the Viaduct to the next level in ‘showbar glamour’ and looked at the investment as another exciting design challenge to enhance this already successful business”.

There will be a new layout inside, new sound and lighting system and dazzling new shows.

Industry renowned choreographer Francesca MacDuff Varley, who has just finished filming for Jane McDonald’s ‘Jane and Friends’ Channel 5 show has been working with the team to make sure guests are in for a real treat of boundless camp and splendour.

“Locals and tourists alike, week after week, are blown away by costumes, routines and endless glamour”.
