They first started dating at the age of 14 - but these childhood sweethearts have finally tied the knot with the help of the Yorkshire Evening Post.

Newlyweds Rachel and Kirk Mason, both 35, from New Farnley, in Leeds, clinched their dream wedding courtesy of the YEP’s Win a Wedding competition.

The bride and groom, who have two children, beat competition from loved-up couples across the city to scoop the £12,000 big day at The Village Urban Resort, in Headingley.

They were married at St John’s Church, in Wortley.
