Young patients at Leeds Children’s Hospital now have state of the art sensory equipment to enjoy thanks to the fundraising efforts at Leeds Lions Club.
The club has raised over £3,000 for the hospital to buy the equipment to improve the experiences of poorly youngsters treated at the unit at LGI.
Megan Drage, fundraiser Leeds Children’s Hospital Appeal said the equipment will help distract children facing procedures as well as improving the movement skills of those who are sensory-impaired.
She said: “We are so grateful to the Lions. Without community groups like them, we wouldn’t be able to support the hospital’s brilliant work with all the young patients.”
