Leeds charity staff don uniforms after donation

Have your say

Charity Furniture store workers have been given a lift with a set of sparkling new uniforms.

The new look for staff, volunteers and trainees at the Leeds and Moortown Furniture Store (LFMS), in Seacroft, came courtesy of a grant from the Sir George Martin Trust.

John Gamson, the store’s general manager, said: “The new outfits are brilliant, not only because they keep our guys warm when they’re out and about collecting and delivering donated furniture but, by us all dressing alike, they make the whole team feel precisely that – a team.”
