Leeds: Charity boost from small change

Twelve Charities in Leeds are among 1,000 around the UK to benefit from Yorkshire Building Society members’ small change.

The society’s charitable foundation has donated £100,000 to charities and good causes nominated by people during its Small Change Big Difference campaign.

Leeds Mencap, St George’s Crypt, Yorkshire Air Ambulance, St Gemma’s Hospice and Help For Heroes were among those to benefit. Others include Wakefield Autism Leisure Club, Take Heart, Candlelighters, Rothwell Christmas Hospitality Lunch, Cosy Corner Memory café and MPGN/DDD Support Group.
