Officers were on patrol in a marked police car in Randolph Street, Bramley on Thursday just after 6.30pm when they saw a silver Vauxhall Astra VXR travelling at speed.

They activated their blue lights but the car drove off and was involved in a collision with a parked Honda Civic in Fairfield Avenue.
