Leeds business donates £25k to worthy causes across the city

Leeds-based estate agent has donated an impressive £25,000 to local charities in the first six months of 2018.

Through its Community Fund initiative, the business has supported over 67 causes, projects, schools and teams over the six-month period as well as contributing to various community events and festivals across the city.

Some of the lucky recipients have included Yorkshire Indian Society, Yeadon Carnival, Hope Pastures, Grimes Dyke Primary School, Horsforth Hall Park Cricket Club and Meanwood Festival.

One of Manning Stainton’s most recent donations was to Featherbank Primary School in Horsforth of a Samsung tablet, which was presented to six-year-old Leo Harrington, the student with the best attendance last year.

Headteacher Lorraine Scudder said: “We’d like to say a big thank you to Manning Stainton for their latest donation, which helped us reward good attendance. Manning Stainton provide us with support and donations throughout the year and it’s great to see an organisation giving back to the communities that it’s active in.”
