A group of cyclists from Leeds Building Society raised £1,200 for charity when they took part in the Great Yorkshire Bike Ride.

The 11-strong head office team rode 70 miles, from Wetherby to Filey, in aid of the Hollybank Trust disability charity.

Paul Smith, from the society’s property services department, finished second out of a total of 2,000 riders, completing the race in three and a half hours.

The Hollybank Trust, in Mirfield, gives care to around 100 severely disabled children, young people and adults. Visit http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/team/leedsbuildingsociety to make a donation to the Hollybank Trust on behalf of the team.
