We considered a record-breaking 4,788 applications and saw a rise of four per cent in the number of female applicants who successfully made it to assessment stage.

A total of 32 offers have been made for the 2017 Graduate Academy, taking the total number of graduates we now employ to 75.

Eighteen different UK universities are represented and we remain committed to developing opportunities for home-grown graduates with half of our intake coming from local universities.

It’s important we continue to develop the reputation of our regional economy as a destination of choice for early careers.

It’s also important for us to offer a high-performance approach to early career development, so the best graduates can fulfil their maximum potential with us.

We offer 14 weeks of fast-track training in addition to a rotation of placements within the company’s data, bet, core and people tribes, business skills, mentoring and a buddy scheme, with the tech track offering software engineering, agile, big data, testing and coding in Ruby and JavaScript.

We look forward to welcoming the 2017 Graduate Academy to the Early Careers tribe.
