Leeds Art Gallery: Two day lending ‘gala’ of original works

Have your say

art fans can enjoy their very own weekend festival.

Leeds Art Gallery is expanding its popular picture lending scheme over two days this Saturday and Sunday. It is usually held on just one day.

Since 1961, lending from the collection - currently numbering 600 - has proved to be a huge success with people enjoying a rare opportunity to take original works of art home. The gallery is now just one of a few in the country offering the service.
