Circus announced at the start of this year that it was on the lookout for a charity that it could support by managing its Google AdWords account free of charge.

The offer followed rule changes which meant charity AdWords accounts could be closed down if they were not getting enough clicks.

And now the agency has announced that it has teamed up with London-based Rays of Sunshine, an award-winning charity that had seen its account suspended due to the revised rules.

Circus managing director Rick Tobin said: “As a business, we have been looking at supporting a charity for a while now and when the announcement was made by Google it was a no-brainer for us to offer up our time to a charity in need.

“We’re delighted to be working with Rays of Sunshine, and at getting their account back up and running for them.”

Rick added: “We hope that we can support them long-term and generate some fantastic results through PPC to help the charity continue providing such an incredible service for seriously ill children.”
