Leeds digital agency Delete has designed and developed a new website for the University of Essex.

Delete says the website aims to “set the university apart from competing institutions with a bold, engaging and distinctive design”.

Each landing page contains imagery and videos that have been chosen to try to establish an immediate connection with a young audience.

Applications are powered by Sitecore and there is also integration with Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Funnelback.

Delete partner Tom Dougherty said: “The university’s goal was to have a website that was primarily focused around the needs of prospective students, so we started with an energetic, exciting and different design which would set the experience of studying at the University of Essex apart.

“The resulting site generates a truly stand-out digital presence for one of the UK’s top universities.”

Delete, which has offices in Leeds and London, has worked with clients including Expedia, Red Bull and Southampton FC.
