Leeds Abbey Dash 2018: Sign up on the day

There's still a chance to run this year's popular Age UK Leeds Abbey Dash, which will see thousands of runners take to the city's streets.

The deadline to sign up online has now passed but those who missed out can head down on race day - Sunday (Nov 4) morning to snap up those final places.

Now in its 33rd year, the Age UK Leeds Abbey Dash is well known as a record-breaking course - popular with fun-runners, celebrities and elite athletes alike, the flat course is ideal for achieving Personal Bests.

2017 saw athlete Eilish McColgan, who is running again this year, break the female 10K course record, completing the course in an impressive 32 minutes and 5 seconds.

Adult runners and wheelchair racers can sign up on the day of the event by visiting the information desk, open from 7.30am, at the starting point but places may be limited.

The wheelchair race starts at 8.55am and main race starts at 9.30am.

This does not apply to the Junior Dash, places for this are now closed and there is strictly no on the day entry.

Wheelchair race: 8.55am

Junior race: 9.10am

Adult race: 9.30am

The course:  Flat and fast, ideal for first time and experienced runners.
