THOUSANDS of people across God’s own county have been out in force to mark Yorkshire Day 2018.

From donning flat caps to welly wanging, those living in the White Rose county certainly know how to celebrate Yorkshire’s great heritage.

Photographers have been out capturing the unique and wonderful events that have been held.

They include a world-record flat-cap attempt at Kirkgate Market, the Yorkshire Open Hat Throwing Championships at Leeds Industrial Museum, and yorkshire pudding rolling at White Rose Centre.
