Leeds Mencap is hoping to secure noteworthy support for a day of seasonal fundraising in the city.
Staff and volunteers from the charity are holding a collection at Leeds City Station on Thursday, December 20.
And they are looking for musicians to join them on the day and provide some tuneful accompaniment to their bucket-rattling efforts.
Groups of any kind – from rock choirs to ukulele players – are being sought and can either perform between 7am and 9am or 4pm and 7pm.
A train station collection held by Leeds Mencap last year raised more than £900 for its work supporting people with learning disabilities.
Anyone who can help this time around is asked to ring Joe or Nicky on 0113 235 1331 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
Leeds Mencap moved into a purpose-built home on East End Park’s Vinery Terrace in 2016 following a major fundraising campaign.
