The popular Leeds Abbey Dash will once again return on Sunday November 4, with thousands of runners taking to the streets of Leeds.
But will the weather be warm and sunny or bleak and grey?
Here’s the weather forecast for the Abbey Dash 2018.
Sunday (November 4) will be cloudy throughout the day, but temperatures will be warmer than of late, with a peak of around 12C.
Although the weather will be overcast throughout the day, it is set to be dry before, during and after the race.
Early morning will be cloud, with the temperature rising to 10C by 9am, just in time for the 10K warm up, which begins at 9.10am.
The race itself will start from Wellington Street at 9.30am, with runners assembling in the start area on the site of the old International Pool.
The weather will still be cloudy with a temperature of 10C by the time the race begins.
At 10.30am the 10k & Tudor Shield awards will be presented in front of the Town Hall, with cloud and a temperature of 10C set to remain.
The temperature will then rise to 12C by lunchtime and remain so throughout the afternoon, but it will becomes more overcast as the day progresses.
Yorkshire in general will be “Breezy on Sunday, with some rain edging north during the day,” according to the Met Office.
